For our Coast Club members
A little help with the details.
Let Nick know you’re a Coast Club member when you inquire, so he can confirm the applicable member arrangements before you book.
Before you set sail
Good to know.
Easy to plan.
Which experience should I choose?
Choose Wind & Wine for a relaxed sunset, Sail, Snorkel & Kayak for an active outing, or a private charter for time with your own group. Nick can help match the trip to your guests and dates.
Are these trips suitable for children?
The public Wind & Wine sail is listed for ages 13+. Daytime Sail, Snorkel & Kayak trips and private powerboat trips welcome all ages. Share children’s ages before booking; individual activities and special events may have additional requirements.
Do I need snorkeling or kayaking experience?
Danger Charters provides equipment and instruction for its Sail, Snorkel & Kayak trips. You may also relax aboard instead of joining the water activities. Tell Nick about swimming ability, mobility needs or other concerns so suitability can be confirmed.
Where do we meet, and what should we bring?
Many Key West departures use the Danger Chandlery Store at Opal Key Resort & Marina, 255 Front Street. Some charters use other pickup points. Follow your confirmation and plan to check in 30 minutes early. For water activities, bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection and photo ID; a light layer is useful for cooler evenings.
How do I book through Gone South?
Choose an experience to open a prewritten email to Nick. Add your dates, guest count and any requests, then send it from your email app. Nick will help confirm availability and booking instructions. Sending an inquiry does not secure a reservation.
What happens if plans or weather change?
Cancellation and rescheduling terms depend on party size, charter type and any protection purchased. Review the applicable terms before booking. The operator determines whether conditions allow a trip to proceed.
