Just because you’re booking your own stay doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the benefits of booking with Gone South Travel.
When you select an eligible rate at a participating property, you can still enjoy the same applicable preferred partner amenities and benefits available through Gone South Travel.
Depending on the property, booking program, and qualifying rate, those benefits may include:
A better kind of morning.
Start your mornings with a little something extra. Complimentary daily breakfast may be included with select eligible hotel rates.
A little extra goes a long way.
A little extra spending power never hurts. Qualifying bookings may include hotel or resort credits that can be applied toward eligible on-property experiences or services, subject to the property’s terms.
Room for something special.
Because sometimes the view gets even better. Complimentary room upgrades may be offered at participating properties, subject to availability and the selected rate’s conditions.
Stay in vacation mode.
A little more time to enjoy the good life. Early check-in and late checkout may be available on eligible bookings, subject to hotel availability.
Resort photography is for inspiration. Pictured rooms and amenities are not guaranteed with every reservation; confirm your selected property and rate.

Do I have to complete the intake form first?
New clients must complete the Gone South Travel traveler intake form before proceeding to the self-booking portal. Existing clients who have already completed intake can access the portal directly.
I’m already a client. Do I need to complete the form again?
No. If you’ve already completed your traveler intake form, simply select “Already a Client? Enter the Portal” to access the booking portal.
Can I really book a hotel myself?
Yes. The Fora-powered portal allows you to browse available hotels and accommodations and complete eligible reservations independently.
Will I still receive hotel perks?
Eligible preferred partner rates at participating properties may include amenities such as daily breakfast, property credits, upgrades, or flexible check-in and checkout. Benefits vary by property and rate. Review the specific booking details or contact Nick with questions before reserving.
Are all hotels eligible for preferred partner benefits?
No. Not every hotel, rate, or reservation qualifies.
What if I have a question about a rate?
Email Nick at nick.demayo@fora.travel with the property, dates, and room or rate information.
Can Nick still plan my trip for me?
Absolutely. Personalized travel planning remains available for clients who prefer guidance and assistance. Plan your escape with Nick.
Does the self-booking portal include Coast Club benefits?
The self-booking portal and Coast Club membership are separate offerings. A portal booking does not automatically include Coast Club benefits or qualify for every membership reward. Coast Club eligibility is governed by its membership terms and conditions. Contact Nick before booking if you have questions about membership eligibility.
Is there a planning fee?
Gone South Travel’s personalized planning services may carry a $50 planning fee. For self-service reservations, review the charges, cancellation conditions, and booking terms shown in the Fora portal before confirming. Do not assume that personalized-planning fee waivers apply to supplier charges or other fees. If any charge is unclear, ask Nick before booking.
